Matt Boggan was
born in Kansas City, Kansas, where he lived until graduating high
school in 1986. He then moved to
Miami, Florida, and attended the University of Miami, earning a BA
in Creative Writing in 1991. Dissatisfied with life as a "starving artist",
he came to East Tennessee, where he earned an MS
in counseling from the University of Tennessee,
Knoxville, in 1994. After working for several years as a consultant to
the physically disabled and their care providers, he decided to
attend
the University of Tennessee College of Law for his JD. He is
now a licensed attorney serving the residents of Knox and
surrounding counties. In his leisure time
he enjoys intense music, reading speculative fiction, movies, fine
dining, entertaining and travel.
